About Strength N Unity Association

Strength N Unity Association is a 501(c)(3) faith-based nonprofit organization committed to empowering youth, teens, young adults, families, and underserved individuals through compassion, service, and meaningful community support. Our programs are designed to provide mentorship, leadership development, volunteer opportunities, essential resources, and pathways that help individuals overcome barriers and move toward greater confidence, stability, and self-sufficiency.

Our mission is to strengthen communities by meeting people where they are and connecting them with the support and opportunities they need to thrive. Through community outreach, peer support, life-skills education, family assistance, and referrals to trusted agencies, we help young people and families build stronger foundations, develop their potential, and create healthier futures.

Community Outreach

SNU’s Outreach and Community Engagement Program brings people together through service, support, and meaningful action. We offer volunteer opportunities that empower teens and young adults to build confidence, develop leadership skills, gain experience, and make a positive impact in their communities. Through outreach events and direct assistance, we also provide essential resources such as food, clothing, personal-care items, and referrals to trusted support agencies—helping youth and families access the support they need to move forward with strength and hope.

Faith-Based Family Support and Empowerment

SNU’s Faith-Based Family Support Services are rooted in compassion, hope, and the belief that no family should face life’s challenges alone. Through essential resources, mentorship, encouragement, referrals, and faith-centered guidance, we walk alongside families as they overcome barriers, strengthen their foundation, and create healthier, more stable futures. Our purpose is to uplift and empower families while reminding them that they have a caring village standing beside them.

Mentorship and Empowerment

Our Peer Support Mentors are committed to walking alongside youth as they navigate life’s challenges, discover their strengths, and recognize the greatness within themselves. We provide encouragement, guidance, accountability, and positive support to help young people build confidence, make healthy decisions, and move toward a brighter, more purposeful future. Our goal is to ensure every youth we serve feels seen, valued, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.

Leadership Development

SNU’s Leadership Development Program equips youth, teens, and young adults with the confidence, practical skills, and real-world experiences needed to become responsible, self-sufficient leaders. Through mentorship, entrepreneurship, communication, financial literacy, career readiness, community engagement, and hands-on leadership opportunities, participants learn how to overcome barriers, create meaningful opportunities, make informed decisions, and lead with purpose in their families, schools, careers, and communities.
